Shunka-Omakase Sushi. I decided to try Shunka in Costa Mesa for Omakase (chefs choice) sushi. Customer service was very good, waitress was very knowledgable about the types of fish and regions where they were from. Toro handroll, Toro sushi, Ocean Trout, fried Octopus suction cup and Chawanmushi were the highlights. Overall a great experience. But it still doesn’t compare to Ohshima in Orange.

Chawanmushi was very artfully crafted and made with skill.  So smooth and soothing ultimate comfort food.

Yes this is one Chirashi Zen Order. You get both boxes, its an awesome deal. Sometimes they give you Toro and more Uni but this time they didn’t hook it up.
