Rustic Canyon-Santa Monica, CA. So I’m always in search of the best burgers and Rustic Canyon was praised to serve one of the best burgers in California. Rustic Canyon is a fine dining but casual wine bar. When arriving I took a quick peruse of the menu. I noticed there was no burger listed. In distress I flagged down our waitress. To my relief she informed me their famous Niman Ranch Burger was still available on request but was taken off the menu due to it enormous popularity and dominating customers orders. The chef didnt want the burger taking away from their other offerings on a versatile menu. Boy was I glad they still offered the burger. After sinking my teeth into the first bite, this succulent juicy burger definitely delivers. This has to be in the top 4 burgers I have ever ate. The other items we tried were also decent but the star of the show was definitely the Niman Ranch Burger. This is a nice restaurant to go on a date if you are in the Santa Monica area as well.
